Pacific Mist Music recording artist, Steven Pfister synergizes all of contemporary instrumental music. Steven, a romantic traveling minstrel, resonates poetic melodies that blend the best of Enya, George Winston and the orchestration of Yanni. Fascinated with digital technology, he loves to blend the beauty of acoustic instruments with the synthesized sounds of strings and voices. A polished pianist with nine years of formal classical training, Steven has a lifetime love affair with the piano and his music tells many stories.

Recorded in the fall of 1998, "Neah Bay," Steven's first release has experienced tremendous responses and sales. Mr. Michael McDonald, store manager of the national retailer, Sam Goody of Reno Nevada says, "by far the best selling local jazz artist I have ever seen in my 15 years in music retailing. In fact it is the number 4 selling CD in our Jazz Department, which includes Classical, Jazz, Blues and New Age, as a whole!" Steven is currently negotiating for Sam Goody's West Coast distribution of "Neah Bay." Fans have the registers ringing at Tower of Records in Reno Nevada, as they embrace "Neah Bay." Radio listeners have responded to local personality, Rusty Humphries, who has used Steven's Music from "Neah Bay" to entertain audiences on his #1, rated talk show.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Steven began studying the piano at age eight. Leaving home at seventeen, he traveled the south-eastern United States, playing his unique style of piano and performing in cabarets from New Orleans to Key West. At nineteen, Steven played for our neighbors to the north in the Canadian Rockies. His style of music flourished and he became one of the most sought after soloists for weddings and elegant dinner houses. Currently, Steven can be seen "live," in a nationwide tour of over 40 Macerich Company Mall Venues, performing selections from his first release. Unplanned and spontaneous, with dazzling technique and beautifully creative melodies, Steven amazes his listeners.
